Virtually!

Recently my mac started slowing down. slowing down!! I have 1 GB on my box. A restart did the job but I did not have to do that often before. I looked at the activity monitor and voila…. firefox was the culprit. Look at the ram usage it has. I have only a few extensions on firefox but then I had openned 3 tabs on safari to negate that. Every time I open a new tab or window firefox seems to be eating 10 - 20 MB of space whereas Safari eats around 4 MB on an average unless you have some heavy page or flash app running on the window/tab. Looks like Firefox hasnt shed its mozilla legacy yet.
